All these objects are wrapped with rough linen or jute, which I sew very tight, by handwork. The linen sacks were used originally to transport dry food ingredients. Like human skin it both reveals and conceals. It emphasis the object's morphology but hides the nature of the object; the result is evasive and enigmatic like memory. It's about objects of memory, about memory itself versus souvenirs, about preserving second hands memories without being there.
